Stephanie Carson: Keys & Vocals

Stephanie has been in bands all of her adult life, beginning in Atlantic City, NJ playing at casinos, clubs, parks and fairs and many corporate parties and private dates throughout the country.  For many years, most recently, she was in the 60’s/70’s band, “Feeling Groovy”.  She is currently Director of Music at a church in Clearwater where she plays the band, "Voices In Praise."  She brings an unmatched passion for singing.  She also loves the oldies and adds an expert level of harmonies.

Gus Greening: Drums & Vocals

Originally from Flint, Michigan, our beloved Marine, Gus has more than 30 years of experience behind a kit.  He has played in numerous bands throughout his career including Christian bands and touring with the "Rock and the Rabbi" across Florida, and has many years of experience as a DJ.  His rocking style and soulful taste stems from a background of Classic Rock, R&B, and Contemporary Christian music.

Lex Long: Guitar & Vocals

Alexander “Lex” Long brings a very innovative and raw style that fits perfectly into the Rivers Crossing sound. A Florida native, Lex gets his musical influences from artists such as Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, Dave Mathews, Keb Mo, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Lex has been playing guitar and collaborating with bands such as the Christian band, "Voices in Praise" and "The Performance Company" and has worked with numerous local artists and bands over the last 30 years.

Kevin Nicholson: Bass& Vocals

Another Florida native answering the call to Pay It Forward, Kevin has  shared his bass guitar and voice with area recording artists, bands, churches, charities, film makers and engagements throughout Tampa Bay for over 30 years. Taking musical influences from country, classic rock, reggae, southern rock, soul, jazz, rockabilly and a variety of worship music, Kevin truly puts his heart into the music he plays.

Rivers Crossing Band is gaining momentum in the Tampa Bay Area. Music creates moments and make memories that connect us. Music can be healing, it can lift our spirits and can even transport us back to a time when we heard a song before. It's that powerful. And it's what brings us together.

We take pride in our musical diversity. You will recognize a wide range of music styles from a variety of artists, spanning decades of great music. But our individual backgrounds and influences are not all that makes us different than other bands...
